That is a nice little list. :t:

If you don't send them in already, I'm sure the NSBC would love to receive any reports (also the excellent photos). Also, I'd be delighted to see any reports from...

White-Wings

Bird count has been pretty static since Friday, with the Herring Gull flock at about 600+ until yesterday when it rose to 750+. GBBG count at 100+ each day. Most days I've had a few Kittiwakes and...

I've been back onboard from Tuesday, but there has been very little to report. Herring Gull has been the dominant bird, with GBBG also present in strength. A few Kittiwakes have been present. Outside...

Winter Swallow

I have made a few visits since my last post on Tuesday, but have had nothing out of the ordinary showing. Main changes were an increase in Goldcrest at the back of Lime Kiln Beach, and increased...

Divers/Grebes (Part Two) - Fife

More Divers/Grebes.

Photo 1 - Peaked head - dark half collar?

Photo 2 - Rounded head. Almost Little Grebe like?

Photo 3 - I'm sure this is Red-Throated Diver, but is it juvenile?

Divers/Grebes (Part One) - Fife

I am not very familiar with Divers/Grebes, especially in their winter plumage. In clearer photos, I identified R-T Divers and Slavonian Grebes for sure, but I am left with the attached photos (at...

More Photos

I managed to get a bit closer to the "clump" this afternoon. No sign of any fruits, but what the photos do not show well are the thorns. All on the older wood and some up to four inches long.

Lammerlaws, Burntisland

An hour late this morning produced some nice highlights. A flock of ninety plus Bar-Tailed Godwits, a Grey wagtail and eighteen Red-Breasted Merganser. A distant Great Crested Grebe had me thinking...
