    This hawk was sitting on a dead tree branch and a few minutes later flew around me a couple of hundred yards away after I left. I strongly believe it was the same one as I don't see that many hawks there at HBSP. It was today 10/15/2015 at 8"44AM. I'd appreciate any help with identifying it...

    Finches in the Galapagos Islands

    These are two finches shot in the Galapagos on August 25th at Isla Lobos. I think they are male and female medium ground finches. I would appreciate confirmation of this or a correction. Thanks, Bob

    Female Juvenile Wood Ducks?

    Is this correct or could it be a gadwall or northern pintail? I took it at Huntington Beach State Park in S. Carolina USA yesterday 11/11/14. We have definitely had wood ducks there a month or two ago.
