    Finch, woodpecker and something else

    Sparrow?

    Testing my knowledge.. I noticed this pic in with a bunch of pics i took that were identified as song sparrows.. But i notice that this bird is different, the markings on the head are darker plus there isn't much pattern on the breast. So is this a White Throated Sparrow?

    Waxbill?

    ok i have been searching for over an hour to figure this one out.. I thought it was a red eared waxbill but the beak is black and not orange.. The photo was taken somewhere in south america.. can you help? Is this a waxbill?
