Relationship help needed: Borneo vs. Sulawesi

I have done roughly 60 trips to Sabah (Malaysian Borneo), I am a tour leader. Sabah has some great birding, good birdguides, and even alot of local birders. So you will find more people here with knowledge of the local hotspots than anywhere else in the Malay Archipelago. On my regular 12-14day...

I use a black rapid harness for my 7D mkii and 300mm f2.8is, there is also a bino attachment available. I made my own bino solution. I can only recommend going down that line, allthough the harness is alittle side heavy with only one cam attached, but still much better than neckstraps... maybe I...

Rainforest expedition SUMATRA September 2016 - Seeking companions

hiking Gunung Leuser NP is quite tough, but well worth it. May I ask which location that guest house is at??? I have stayed in the park for quite a while and it is an amazing place. Question about Orangutan/Komodo Dragon tours

Do not expect many birds on Komodo... there is a bird sanctuary/forest reserve a couple of hours from Labuhan Bajo though, I have not been there - but it is made for birds by birders:) Labuhan Bajo is the town you go to Komodo from... You have two opportunities for Orangutan in Indonesia...

Petition Against Ridiculous Ticket Price in Indonesian National Park

I thought it was rather steep before the price increase :D But I believe the program I followed was actually more than the 1,2-1,4mill rp suggested here... That is around 100usd... which is very resonable for the opportunity to see these amazing animals, go on a beautiful boatride from Flores to...

    Tipping guides in Sabah

    Possible alternative to barlows/teleconverters

short legs are inverted... long legs is giving 3xmag, but not biconcave... in the first section close to the cam there was a biconcave lens that gives roughly 1,5-1,6xmag

    Focuser issues

Tord, I just solved my "sound" from the gear... In my case it was the big wheel that was not 100% aligned with the fine adjustment wheel. Loosen the big wheel, make sure it is properly aligned and tighten it... solved it for me:) by the way just installed magic latern on my 7D... trap focus...
