    Unknown Raptor Ecuador

Here is a photo of a raptor I photographed while conducting the Mindo CBC in Ecuador. This bird was quite high and we were not sure what this was. This is the best photo. I am hoping that simple silhouette can narrow it down.

    Mindo Ecuador Hawk ID

These hawks were found at Reserva las Tangaras in Mindo, Ecuador. I only saw them on this occasion, but it was reported that one of them took out a bird on our mist nets. Here is a link to a youtube video where you can hear one of the hawks vocalizing: http://youtu.be/I5SZX8NpPSM

    ID Ethiopia

I have no idea what this bird is. It just sat in this tree near the Blue Nile falls the entire time I watched it. I thought it might be a fledgling, but really have no idea what it is.

Greetings, http://www.flickr.com/photos/67238923@N03/7117162049/ Above is a link to a photo of an ibis taken today in Lubbock, TX. I initially called this a Glossy Ibis, which would only be the second record for the south plains region of Texas. However, I am not entirely positive that this is...
