    Opticron 6.5x32 Adventurer T WP

Anyone tried or looked very closely at the Opticron 6.5x32 Adventurer T WP porro's. Looking for a 6X glass and wondering about something besides the usual suspects?

So what glass do you see the most

Just curious, I would say in the Audubon centers here I see some version of Nikon in use more than any. A lot of the different variety of Monarchs on peoples neck. Probably followed by the various Vortex models next.

    8X42 Conquest objective cover

Do I remember someone using some other cover? The plug in ones on the 8X42 fall out just about every time I lay them in the seat and I really need to move to something else. I was thinking I remembered someone maybe using the Vortex or Eagle covers?

    couple of hundred bucks

I'd like to keep it around $200 (+/- 10%) Looking for 8X, needs decent eye relief for glasses, doesnt need to be small but not really looking for a big 8X42 porro. Something I can throw behind the seat. Have a 8X42 Conquest in the stable along with a 6X Yosemite, 8X42 Bushnell Natureview and...

    Compact spotter

I'm starting to think I may want a compact spotter. Compact so it can ride behind the seat of the truck or in a motorcycle pannier on trips. Just something to use around the camp site, maybe kill some time on nice days. Budget limited right now to around $200 or less, might could stretch to $300...

    White wings

Kinda surprised here south of Dallas to have a couple of white wings hanging out all summer long at my feeders in town. Never really noticed them before.

    inexpensive compacts?

Not a pocket binoc but ssomething small. I have had a Nikon Sprint 8X21 behind the seat for probably 15 years in below freezing to 110ยบ and will probably leave it there, but I'm thinking something with a little more eye relief and a hint of weatherproof. Thinking of Leupold Rogue 8X25 but have...

DFW zone tail or black hawk?

I was on hwy 360 the other day just south of I-20 in Arlington and a large dark colored hawk lifted up out of the ditch. Looked like a solid white band across the tail, anyone in the DFW area seen a black or zone tailed here?
