    dust in Canon 100 - 400 mark ii

    I had the same problem, lots more dust than the old version. I had mine cleaned (for free) by Canon after I had it for four months and checked to make sure all rings were fine. Looks like it is less of a problem now, but time will tell.

    Thanks guys! At least I was close with Grey Shrike. It was the brown color on the wings that made it difficult for me, at least if you look at the pics in Collins.

    Saw this shrike in the Negev desert in Israel. My guess was a juvenile grey shrike, because it reminds me one. But, as you might have guessed by me posting here, I'm not sure. Help is appreciated :)

    iPad update

    You are referring to app updates, which they do let you choose whether or not to do automatically. But if you are on WIFI and plugged in (and who isn't from time to time) it will automatically download an iOS update and no way to disable that,short of turning off WIFI or the device every time...
