    Germany/Netherlands border - Rhine River gull - June 2022

Because of the yellow legs and the dark mantle, my best guess is Lesser Black-backed. However, it is still just a guess. Thank you.

Germany, Wertheim - another gull species, June 2022

A smaller gull than the previous post. Thanks.

    Germany - Wertheim - gull - June 2022

I'm not good with gulls, but hopefully the photos are enough for an ID from someone who is. Thanks

USA - Snowy Range - Mirror Lake, picnic area - SE Wyoming - no idea.....

Very distant photos of a pair of birds seen July 15, 2022. The 'female' was my focal point and only in reviewing the photos did I note the 'male' in an adjacent tree. Thanks.

    O'ahu, HI, USA - April 4, 2022

I also checked for juvenile Sooty Tern photos and there was one that was a dead ringer for this bird. And it would be likely, since there were a lot of adult Sootys in the area. Thanks for all the feed back. LVCUER

USA- Juvenile white egret/heron - May 3, 2021 South Padre Nature Center, Texas

Thanks for the info - there was an adult white-morph Reddish Egret at the same location, but it never crossed my mind that this could be junior.

USA- Juvenile white egret/heron - May 3, 2021 South Padre Nature Center, Texas

I'm baffled by the dark lores. Medium sized bird (too small for Great Egret).

USA - Nevada, Mt Charleston, Flycatchers, Aug 14, 2020

Hi - I bird a spring up on Mt Charleston and this was an extremely birdy day. Flycatchers are very difficult for me to identify and it is possible, during the 3 hours I was there, that these are different birds. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks.

Strange swamphen in Florida - Jan 1, 2020

I birded Florida a few weeks ago and, upon reviewing the photos, discovered my 'Purple Gallinule' seems to be a dead ringer for the Australasian Swamphen. This bird was photographed outside of Orlando, Florida, USA at Lake Apopka, North Shore Drive. There is a Common Gallinule behind the...

I was thinking female White-ruffed Manakin, as they are possible in the area. Thanks for any feedback.

Warbler sps Mt Charleston, NV - September 23, 2015

Yes, admittedly, I was thinking Connecticut. Time of year was late September. But it's a rarity in Nevada. Thanks

Warbler sps Mt Charleston, NV - September 23, 2015

Three years ago I took photos of this warbler and identified it as a Nashville Warbler. Tonight, reviewing the photos, (and with 3 years more birding experience) I am not certain that is a correct ID. I would be very interested in anyone else's opinion. All I have are these 2 photos. Thanks.

Tanzania, Zanzibar last of the Sunbirds - October 16

We spent 2 days at the Hideaway Resort, Nungwi, north end of the island of Zanzibar. Yes, bought a bird book but looking for confirmation from birders who know the avifauna. From posts, I am guessing the first bird is a Purple-breasted Sunbird - among the 8 species listed for Zanzibar...
