Android App for working with PDF files

I have to mark students work which is delivered as PDF files which is no problem when I am at home as my desktop has all the software I need. However when away from home I am reliant upon using an Android tablet and am finding it very difficult locating a decent app for allowing me to comment...

    Dawn Chorus 2018

The Dawn Chorus meet was put back a day as there was a bicycle race in the area on the Sunday so it was somewhat depleted bunch of birders who turned up at Barden Bridge at 0630. The weather was great, nice warm sun and no wind but only 3 of us to enjoy it. Ken and I had made our way from Leeds...

    Mirror lenses on a DSLR?

I have found my old Tamron 500mm mirror lens from back when I was shooting slide film in the 1980's. I now have a Canon 750D and am wondering whether it is worth while getting a T adapter to attach said mirror lens to the camera. The adapter being many many times cheaper than a 500mm lens.

    Benalmedena in June

I'll be in Benalmedena in about 4 weeks (10 -17 June) whilst not an out and out birding trip - I will have a car and time to get out for a few hours each day. Any tips on where to go that will give rewards without draining the patience of a non-birdwatching spouse.

    1st Tyke Meet of 2014?

It has been mooted on Twitter that having a rerun of last years LDV Meet might be a good idea. Anyone else up for it? Due to impending fatherhood for one fella the meet would have to be before February, I couldn't do next week end as I'm ferrying my son to uni, so how about either Sunday 19th...

I've just moved across to Opera from Pale Moon due to the latest PM upgrade doing crazy things to my machine. Finding Opera a good browser but tonight I hit a snag. I'm running an AMD Athlon 11 dual core system, Windows 7 OS, Pale Moon browser. I know it ain't cutting edge but it prints my reports and sorts my email correctly. I keep BF as a pinned tab in Pale Moon but just lately every so often when I hit the new posts button, instead of refreshing the...

    2.0x Tele lens for HS20exr

Found this on ebay - 2.0x tele photo lens for the hs20. The price seems extremely low, less than £13.00. Has anybody used one? I'm very tempted due to the low price. No longer tempted, I'm persuaded that the quality is going to be not the best
