    i write everything down as i see it in the field - for the same reason as your No 3 but also because memory is not as good as people think it is. I also use the notes then to upload all my sightings on to the BTO's recording system "Birdtrack"

    Good question Kathy Last year i had 14 nest boxes taken (12 Blue Tit's, 2 Great Tits), this year 15 however 8 were Blues and 7 were Greats. 5 of the Great Tit's failed at egg stage and out of the two successes only 6 young fledged from at least 10 eggs. Blues did fare better although one box...
