    Going from 10x50 to 8x42 or 10x42??

    Hello - for 30 years I had always used 10 x 40's. However, I made the jump to 8 x 42's (very anxiously) a couple of years ago. It was definitely the right move for me, to get a lighter pair (in weight), a better field of view, and a brighter image. I kept my previous pair of 'nockies' for 20...
