    If you want good close views, I know there is an evening boat trip from Martins Haven, you can get tickets from Lockley Lodge visitor center in Pembrokeshire, which goes around skomer Island where they breed, although I have not done the trip myself

    How to distinguish common and thrush nightingale calls?

    In simple words If you were judging them side by side is 8 out of 10 for Thrush Nightingale , 10 out of 10 for Common Nightingale !!, very difficult to explain in words other than go out and listen to them.
