    The Dordogne - France

    Anyone got any info on where to watch birds in the Dordogne? Looks good for Golden Oriole, Nightingale, Bluethroat, Honey Buzzard etc... Any specific nature reserves? Good marshes?

    Small White 19/02/10

    I forgot to mention this before but I found a Small White butterfly in Milnathort, Perth and Kinross on Friday. It looked like it was freshly emerged. It's the earliest record for the east of Scotland per recorder. We took some dodgy record shots with mobiles. I'll get them uploaded shortly.

    Fungi ID

    Hello all. This was found in a stubble field with coniferous woodland nearby, and Loch Leven 200 yards south. White gills and shape lead to a suspected identity- are there any mycologists out there who would be able to confirm the species from this picture? No spore print available sadly...

    I've just been shown a photo of a Comma taken bear Dunfirmaline. These species are heading north. I've seen a couple in Fife before. Anyone else seeing them in Scotland?
