    Untitled...

Welcome back to happiness Phil! I stopped drawing for a long time. Got into photography and was more worried about iso, capturing that perfect shot and all the madness that goes into it. Then thought, what's the point. Everyone is taking pictures. I'm going back to drawing. God was it...

Spotting scope aperture and heat waves. Seeing?

Thanks Joachim, I often glass with my 10x42 Swarros on my tripod. I love everything about it except the magnification Drop off. everything is razor sharp and no seeing issues at all, unless you are going for miles away.. I've always wondered why some of the bigger bino companies don't make zoom...

    Razor HD 20-60x85 LOW priceā€¦..

Funny... I have been looking at these, I would love to buy one but can't seem to find the straight version in 85mm. The only thing I can find in a straight version with this focuser is a Kowa ..A bit pricey.

    A few neotropic bird paintings

Once again amazing art. It's funny I watched your video and just watched the lines pop up on the screen. I'm still old school, and just use my pens for the most part and pencils and my beat up sketchpad. Spending a lot of time field sketching .l love the challenge of time vs frantic sketching...

    Gray catbird eating flowers

Funny I came on to ask almost the same question. I live in central Florida and have a male and female Cardinals in my backyard that decided to tear all the flowers off of our honeysuckle the other day..

A couple of field sketches from the backyard.

Great Bryan! I find it very relaxing, I've given up on photography and gone strictly to sketching... I've learned a lot more about birding behavior.. Good luck in your sketching venture. I hope it gives you the happiness I've found in it.

    Babies in the backyard.

I live in the semi suburbs, and my backyard has been a 6 year project to make and attract as may bird's as possible. A few bird feeders two bird baths. Lots of trees and flowering plants. I do most of my birding from my backyard. Most of the work I do in my garden is for the birds. The...

Low or high power hand held?

Thanks everyone. I was out this weekend with my 6x30 kowa. For birds in flight they are great, birds in trees at a distance not so. I have my 10x 42 SLC s on my tripod . I almost feel not having my swarro s mounted on a tripod as a waste. I bought a pair of Vortex DB 15x56 binos. These are good...

Low or high power hand held?

Just wanted to get some input from everyone. Hand holding binos? Would you prefer lower power with less shake or higher power more shake. As you are sacrificing magnification of detail. Just wanted too know if anyone else can not let the magnification thing go?

Why is Alpha better than high grade.

Maybe it's about what kind of bling you have around your neck! Hahaha. I pick out all the problems out on my vortex db's after I look through my swarro SLC's.
