    Help with Caterpillar ID (West Midlands, UK)

    Hi, I found this caterpillar today near West Bromwich, West Midlands, Uk. It was crossing a path adjacent to a lake, Willows, Willowherb sp, grasses etc all present in the location. The coin is a £1 coin for scale. Any help would be much appreciated, thanks in advance.

    Mystery Redstart, China

    Hi all, I took this picture in Century Park, Shanghai in March 2012. It is what I'm sure is a White-winged Redstart (aka Guldenstadt's Redstart). However, the literature suggests this species isn't found this far East in China and is an altitudinal migrant found at high elevation, not sea level...
