    adult Northern Pintail?

    Hi there, comments on this pintail would be highly appreciated. It is a male for sure, but I wonder whether the feathers I marked are indicating the remnants of a juvenile plumage or are these just eclipse feathers? right side left side Picture was taken in early Oct. Best, Carnifex
