    Lol..i didn't say anything. Been away. So quick stroll down brook. Cordoned off mostly. (Had to climb over the fencing) Nice to see the kingfisher. Reed-warblers in the marsh area. Reedbed area looking really good with lubins and yellow iris. Nice capture of the kingfisher keith.

    Male redstart County news Stonking male redstart/ bourn brook walkway. The the reedbeds on the new bypass A38 beside Q.E hospital. Watched at 1pm for 30mins and was still there when i left.

    Little egret Little Egret still in shennley park. From Cromwell lane follow the park walking lane till you come to the skateboarding facility. Seems to favour this area. Note: very flighty, so check tree tops along the stream.

    Little egret Cycling through shenley park and found a little egret beside the workout facilities. Fishing in the small stream. Saw me approach and walked up the grass slope revealing it's yellow socks. Approximately 12.30. Very close views.

    Kingerfisher First stroll down the bourn for a while produced kingerfiser(male) beside big pipes, 5m from me. Great view. Also saw chiffchaff (singing) beside footprint boulder and water rails calling. Beautiful spring like day.

    Peregrines I have been working at snowhill for 3 weeks and the peregrines fly between bt tower and spend alot of time on holiday inn express. Easily viewed from st chads. Look top left on the hotel

    Quick stroll down Bourn brook produced 100+ goldfinch ready to roost in arosa drive. Veiwed from the brook track in the two mature trees. Pleasantly noisy, contact calling, jingling and nasal noises. Approximately 4 p.m..so maybe their roost site.

    Pleasure to meet you too Zomerset. Tricky to pin down and get a good view (goldcrest). Also, one of the first calls from a bird that you cannot hear when you get older and your hearing begins to get impaired.
