    IUCN Red List Revision?

    It appears as though the IUCN has recently revised their Red List. However, I cannot find a comprehensive document detailing such. Does anybody know where such a report might be found? Many thanks.

    Elegant Trogon?

    Have there been any attempts to encourage Elegant Trogons to use nest boxes? A quick google search lends the information that they nest in woodpecker cavities, so shouldn't they easily take to a birdhouse?

    While attempting to make Bluebird houses for a local park, I misread the instructions. Instead of making the holes 1 3/8 x 2 1/4 inches, I read it as 1 3/4 x 2 1/4 inches. Will this impede nest success? Would it be worth it to replace the fronts?

    Has anyone considered using UV light to sex birds in a relatively non-invasive manner in the field? Surely damage to the eyes is minimal? Could this be used to sex birds that have relatively little sexual dimorphism?
