    Turning pasture into bird habitat

I'm not exactly sure what you're asking, but if you're speaking of grazing animals on the patch, there is currently no grazing animals, but there used to be a horse and a few cattle in the patch (5 years ago). I said "pasture" merely because i thought grassland wouldn't be a great description of...

    East Idaho Wish list Mystery

Hello. i live in Oklahoma but i am currently in Idaho for a few weeks. Me and my dad have been hoping for a few certain birds, some of which we've seen, and some of which we haven't. Some that we did see that we were hoping for: Clark's Nutcracker, Willow Flycatcher, Long-eared owl, and...

    Long-eared Owls

While seeing many Great-horned Owls at Market lake Idaho, we spotted a Long-eared Owl. It was smaller, skinnier, and had (compared to its size) longer "ears". It was in a shelter belt surrounded by marsh. I'm not very knowledgeable about birds of prey, so i'm not quite sure how common they'd be...

That painting is absolutely amazing. I tried to paint a Scarlet Macaw once but it was nowhere near as beautiful as that.

    How many feeders per tree?

I'd say there's no limit unless the area becomes unclean, in which it'd deter birds from the area, and, as Aiden said, you keep the types of feeders diverse.

    Your Most Recent "Life" Bird

Clark's Nutcracker, 3:00 at Paul's Reservoir Idaho. Three of them flying around and loudly calling. Definitely my favorite bird I've ever seen.

    California Quail in Eastern Idaho?

Hello. While exploring my dad's property near Rexburg Idaho, we found a lone California Quail wandering around. He kept his distance from us, and acted just like wild quail from where i was born in Washington. We asked local residents if they owned quail and had any escapees, but nobody nearby...
