    Woodpecker's little brown bird buddy

    around my place the hairy woodpeckers are often followed around by a brown tree creeper...the woodpeckers wedge a peanut in the tree bark and the creeper comes in behind it and cleans up ...i know you said it is sparrow like and the tree creeper is more nuthatch like...but wondering if it could...

    feather ID minden ontario

    i will add that these feathers were found in my horse pasture fairly close together...northern flicker makes sense since they are a'plenty around here...just never noticed all the yellow on them before...as for the third , i have seen a pair of wild pigeons at my feeder could the third feather...

    Male Swallow not the father caring for young

    since swallows sometimes have 2 broods im wondering if the new bird is perhaps a sibling from the first brood who hasnt moved on...i have noticed this type of behavior with the barn swallows i have here
