    Dragonfly ID

It does look more like that one, being all the same shaded colour. It was found on the edge of a sandy heathland, down a Rhododendron lane. The nearest river is about a mile away and I don't think there are any ponds near by, but I could be wrong. Thanks for all your help. I will buy myself a...

    Dragonfly ID

I can't see it in any of busyb suggestions. The size was about 3" long. At first at a distance when flying, it looked like a dark blue butterfly but than when I'd caught up with it I soon realized it was a dragonfly or damselfly. When perched it kept it's wings closed, it also had black legs and...

    Parrot UK

I've look at the photos of your suggestion and I'm 95% sure it was a yellow-headed Amazon. I saw it just before dark, (my neighbors looking at it caught my attention), It was very large and seemed to have a long tail but there was a lot of leaves in the way. The yellow spot on the head it right...

    Strange Sparrowhawk

A month ago I visited a shop on the end off an industrial estate next to some trees. I approached the glass door and right in front of the door was a sparrowhawk with a freshly caught wood pigeon. What was strange was the sparrow hawk never flew off as I approached it: i got to about 3 feet in...

Kathy, Yes Joni Mitchell wrote it, but the group you are thinking of I think is Crosby, Stills and Nash. I bet you have been humming the song all day. Roger.
