    t is largely pale grey above and white below with a distinctive white patch on the wing.

    Take your scope into a camera store and hold the camera to the eyepiece and see how the lens behaves.

    How next system shall work

    The TLS APO 23 has been designed for Micro Four Third cameras (the 43 is for full frame). The 2x crop of micro Four Thirds will get you "up close and personal" with most subjects. The Focus Peaking feature makes manual focussing very easy.

    Relict Gull or Black-headed?

    I photographed this gull in Hong Kong (Mai Po) a few years ago and had it down as a Relict Gull. Not as likely as a Black-headed Gull I suspect. Can anyone confirm?

    For comparison with the Sw20x this photo was digiscoping with the Sw30x and the Olympus E420 and Nikon 20/2.8 lens.

    I came across a folder of photos taken with the Swarovski 20mm. I was using it for digiscoping night herons and flamingos where I didn't want too much magnification. With the Olympus E420 and 25mm lens it gave a magnification of 1,000mm which was just about right to fill the frame with a night...
