    On the Rufford branch canal. Adjacent to Rufford Old Hall. West Lancs. Small, pretty, grey duck. Black stripe over head. Reddish brown patch on wing. Beige mottling on breast. White under tail. Possibly escaped from nearby WWT Martin Mere.
