    Fixed eyepieces

    They are both HDF fixed eyepieces 40810 will deliver a magnification of 17x whilst the 40831 will give you 23x. They mount differently too, the 40810 is internal thread whilst the 40831 has an external threaded mounting ring. Hope this helps
