Leupold Golden Rings HD lens system
Talked to someone in the Leupold custom shop today that told me Leupold GRs binos used the same HD lens system as their GR spotters, a fluoride based objective lens system. He went on to say this is not listed in their catalog but this is what they use in their new GRs bins. Any of you guys know... -

There is a guy on Ebay that claims his store in Europe has Swarovski ELS 8.5x42s for $700 US dollars and also says he has Leica Geovids 10x42 for 700, what are the chances hes legit. -

Bigger Zeiss FLs
Does anyone know if Zeiss has a 50mm or 56mm (FL) bin coming out in the near future. Are they going to replace their big Victorys with FLs like they did with the others. -

Which 12x
I am probally going to get my dad a 12x bino(because he insist) for his b-day and don't have experience with 12s. The two in question are the zeiss 12x56 and the 12x50 leica. The nikon is not waterproof and has to small a fov. Please tell me the pros and cons of these 2 binos and some opnions... -
