    Canon SX60HS in Action

Agreed. The shots from my sx40 were less noisy maybe due to the lower pixels 12mp.

    Canon SX60HS in Action

Apart from higher frame rate and 20.3 mp sensor it doesn’t look like much of an upgrade. The evf has a improved count though.

Canon SX70HS on the way with new 20.3 mp sensor looks good albeit quite pricey.

    Canon sx60 vs Panasonic FZ82

Should have also mentioned the ergonomic handling as is fits nice in the hand with the bigger grip.

    Canon sx60 vs Panasonic FZ82

I chose the sx60 based on some key features for my needs. I didn't need 4K because my soft can't handle it and would mean additional costs. Another one is the folding screen which is so useful not to mention the zoom. 16 mp is enough for what I want and the video is more than capable at 1080 60p.

Best Lens for Panosonic GH4/5 with Digiadapter

I have no experience with the others. One reason why it's so popular is the f1.7 for the dof and light capabilities. When it's not on the back of your scope it's takes decent wide angle shots as well.

Black Rapid (or similar?) strap for Canon 1DxII and 100-400 isII - recommendations?

I heard of issues with these straps. You need need to consider the amount of weight with your combo. Maybe a monopod would be better

    7D ll or 100-400 ll

If your ok with canon I would recommend the 100-400mk2 and look at the 7d mk1, if money allows. Also consider the sigma 150-600 both versions are great lenses. As most say glass first is the best way. Good luck with whatever you decide
