    i saw a video a long time ago of a red tail killing a full grown opossum, id think that would be at the upper limit of what a buteo could take.

    will global warming increase reptile diversity in north america??

    it seems if tropical birds are expanding northward at a fast pace from mexico, that reptiles might do the same. perhaps the american and morelets crocodiles will expand into texas sometime soon and quite a few snakes as well...i guess only time can tell.

    id think so, the habits and shape of the two birds are very similar, only differences are the bluebird is more fond of humid habitats and is more arboreal and the wheatear fond of drier habitats and is largely terrestrial.
