    New Zoom eyepiece

    Has anyone yet had any experience of the new zoom eyepiece in the field, and if so does it justify its £200 + price tag. My scope is an ES80 GA ED at present with a fixed eyepiece and I was wondering if an upgrade to this new eyepiece is justified.

    Canon image stabilized binoculars

    One or two people have been bringing and using Canon image stabilising binoculars to the "Full Monty" aren't bird brilliant watchpoint at RSPB Frampton Marsh and I've had a look through them when I get the chance. It is amazing to see the wobbling field of view snap into a very sharp still image...

    Freiston Shore RSPB Resevre First Great Egret

    Two firsts for Freiston Shore RSPB reserve today. (1) First great egret seen on the reserve in the lagoon area. (2) Seventeen little egrets also observed in the same lagoon area also at the same time.;)
