    Jonahs, you can get all the news from Wexford straight to your mobile phone via @wexfordbirdnews on twitter. Currently there is Yellow-browed Warbler, AGP, White-rumped Sand, Buff-b Sand, Glossy ibis, and Bearded reedlings. Anything is likely to turn up there.

    Where to watch or photography Puffin (In ireland)

    The Saltee Islands off the coast of Co. Wexford affords a great opportunity to photograph puffins, guillemots, razorbills, cormorants, shags, gannets and kittiwakes. Best time of the year would be late May-June to see the young being fed.

    Stuart, I would also agree with Sean and Mark that your bird looks like a stone-wall Swinhoe's to me. The bill shape and configuration, as well as the colour, is spot on for Swinhoe's. The loral patch fits also. A very nice find. Best Regards Mark

    I had a female Hen Harrier in the hills around Cooley on Sunday 17th (email me for exact location). Also present about 5-7 Wheatear, Raven, Kestrel, lots of singing Willow Warblers. At Shelling Beach(?) there were 6 White Wagtails, 12 Whimbrel, and 36 Shelduck. Plenty of Sand martins and...
