    Pink-footed geese, York, UK.

    I'm hearing geese calling overhead in the dark tonight (sorry no recording). As they don't sound like the local Canadas or Greylags and as Pink-footed Goose is regularly recorded on passage round York, that was my first thought. Recordings of Pink-foot flight calls on xeno-canto.org do indeed...

    Feathers to ID - Wilts UK

    Can anyone please suggest what these might be? Found today in a quiet suburban area of Wootton Bassett, so within a mile of countryside, but they don't immediately remind me of anything I've seen round here. They were lying in a light scatter of similar feathers in an area maybe 2-3 feet...
