    One Definition for DIGISCOPING please.

Let me keep this simple. Remember, this is only my oppinion. Digiscoping: Using a digital camera, wether its a P&S, cameraphone, or DSLR with a scope to take high magnification digital photographs. The DSLR when used to digiscope can use a normal SLR lens or a T2 mount fitted to an adaptor that...

What's with this ringing of the neck?

Right, just my observations of course. The swan in the photo in the first post the neck ring is loose, therefore is not restricting movment of the neck. These rings are of course, light, and smooth, so they slide along the feathers. This along with being larger in diameter than the neck...

    Fed up with punctures

um, I assume that is where the rubber of the valve seperates from the rubber of the tube? if so that is not what is happening. The rubber at the base of the valve has split (sliced through from rubbing) I'll cover the edges of the hole in the rim with duck tape which should prevent it reoccuring.

    Do DSLRs and birding mix?

You know you want to. but you won't give up digiscoping I assure you. Infact, I took up digiscoping after I got my SLR. As for carrying lots of lenses around, well, You can get away with 3 lenses to cover the majority of situations. Say, the new sigma 150-500mm OS, their 18-200mm OS and the...

    Fed up with punctures

fixed... but.. A punture.... at the valve.. I'm not sure if its the rim cutting into the vavle, or from putting too much air into the tube... I guess its the former.

    Fed up with punctures

I havent got a clue.. I was changing gear as always, overshot, did my usual tick of dropping down to the bottom ring to get the chain back on. and it buckled. I was close to home so keeping it on the middle ring I managed to get home with a bit of scraping. i suppose thats what you get with a...

    Fed up with punctures

The first quote was a 16 mile ride, the second was infact 15 miles, as I went out again on a 5 mile ride after I posted so, making sure there's enough air in the tires makes a huge difference to the comfort.
