    Mounts Bay Cornwall UK

    Common Dolphins present in large numbers as are Porpoises - the Rissos and Bottlenose are elusive. Minke Whales a weekly visitor. Humpack Whale again this week. Also many Pilot Whales. The pic is from the Mermaid II - a bit of Dolphin friskiness.

    Risso Dolphins Cornwall

    Last years the Risso were off Penzance all summer - this year they have come around Lands End to St Ives - they are close offshore gorging on Cuttlefish tearing off the tentacles leaving the bodies to the Gulls. Boatmen say it's chaos out there.

    St Ives Cornwall, there are two (that I've seen) yellow legged gulls in the harbour - to me they look exactly like the local Herring gulls. What are they ?
