    There is a large panorama photo in the hospital where I undergo some medical treatment at the moment ... I do not know from where in the world that photo is- but i have the suspicion it is Australia /New Zealand there is a lawn at the seaside with European grasses, (mainly Lolium perenne)...

    Predated egg found- which species

    Predated eggshell (likely either predated by black crow or by northern raven) on the road at my working place in Braunschweig, Germany, May 2021 5.6 cm long (should be about 2,2 inches), and about 3.8cm wide. I am thinking Eurasian Oystercatcher?
