    Perfectly stated and 100% accurate, now if I can just get the part about keeping quiet in my thick head.:-O I'm not however saying that the SLC isn't great, I just don't currently have any ability to see one.

    I haven't seen the recent SLC, so I can't really make a valid statement about them . For those who have seen both, which one did you prefer ? Bruce

    I usually only often reference and belove SOBs that I actually own. ;) I guess Swarovski is all mixed up, I could have sworn that they market the SV as their flagship model.:h?:

    Very true, unless you have the right bloodline, the looks , or belong to one of the more "enlightened' clubs or groups of mutual back slappers. Then the whole damn world is all ears, regardless of whether or not what's being said amounts to a tinkerers damn. 3:-)

    I haven't, and until I do, I really can't have an opinion about them. Until I see a pair, and can either arrange a trade or sell what I have, I'll just have to suffer with these God awful SV's.;):-O

    All other thing being equal or better, anybody in their right mind would want more FOV. My ideas have probably evolved a bit, but my priorities would probably be. 1- Rich color saturation and contrast coupled with high brightness and transmission, without wash out. - Not easy to achieve, and...

    The Chicom binoculars are almost as good as the SV, and the second level in the Swaro line is much better. Quite an oddity I must say. :eek!::eek!::D:D3:-)

    Hi Andy I also have the EL 10X42 SV and enjoy the vivid color representation quit a lot. Is it the more neutral colors of the SF that have you preferring it to the SV ? Thanks Bruce
