    It appears on the top r.h. corner of the Reply and edit boxes (well I have iSpell installed, so that might be why, but I think it appears generally).

    Notepad is a part of Windows, Colin, so you should have it as a part of the operating system (if you use a Mac, I expect it has similar software). the beauty of it is that it reduces all formatting to "Plain text" which is ideal for web pages. The Throstle is a pleasant poem, isn't it...
