    upsidedown suet feeders?

    I am having a real problem with grackels and starlings raiding my cage style suet feeders. I hate to take them down since the woodpeckers and nuthatches love them but i'm sick of feeding the pest bullies :C Anyone find these upsidedown style suet feeders worthwhile? Thanks Lou G

    tufted titmouse?

    This is one bird I'm looking to attract, but have not had much luck. Once back in January saw one on my tube feeder and in Febuary during a snowstorm saw 4 together in my bradford pear tree. Any tips or ideas how to attract these little guys? I use black oilers, safflower, shelled peanuts...

    Northern Flicker

    Saw my first northern flicker this morning on my suet feeder munching away. I was surprised at how big they are. Very neat looking bird. Added to my list. :t: Lou G

    Very busy backyard today

    So far I have the following residents here in southern NJ. Many junco, cardinals, blue J's, downy and red bellied peckers, black cap chickadees, red breasted nuthach, had a house wren visit but haven't seen lately, doves, and of course many different sparrows, house finches and the lots of gray...
