    cross n gos lots of crossbills around should not be hard to pick one up goshawk is a bit harder to pick up but they will be starting to display around now pick a nice sunny and breezy day and get to a fair size forest sit where you can see above the trees sit and wait best bet is afternoon...

    Trip to hawick area today plenty of crossbills about. on the road eating grit at 3 places whooper swans on alemoor res still. We had a walk around craik forest for goshawk but failed
