    Oh, yeah, been there done that! When we lived in West Yorkshire, a few of the starlings also got the hang of the Curlew's call - very weird to hear a Curlew call in the dales in mid winter.

    Seems kinda strange your not seeing more in the eastern side of the UK. We have flocks of 200+ Fieldfare with some Redwing feeding on the stunted hawthorns on the northern flank of the Black Mountain. A very abundant berry crop this year!
