    Hybrid Athya Warwickshire?

    What do people think of the parentage of the duck in link below (photos by Bob Duckhouse). It is assumed locally to be a pochard/feruginous hybrid rather than a pure Ferruginous although the wingbar/bill pattern haven't been noted yet. See here.

    Skua at Belvide

    Went to see the bird reported as an arctic skua at Belvide, Staffs today and was a little confused.
