    How can I improve on these

    Was out & about yesterday & took some OK pics of a Hobby. I'm using a Nikon D7100 1.4 converter & 300mm lens. I feel that the pics are Ok - But feel that they're lacking in clarity & sharpness. How can I improve? or am I being too critical? Any advice would be much appreciated!:t:

    Using D300, 1.4converter + AF-s300mm lens Spot metering, P 1/500 F11 Iso 1250 420mm White balance Auto - This is the info I got off the camera. Cropped down to 3x5 (587kb) How can I sharpen them? - Is it camera set up? or Processing on Microsoft Offfice Picture Manager? Cheers!
