    How can I improve on these

    Was out & about yesterday & took some OK pics of a Hobby. I'm using a Nikon D7100 1.4 converter & 300mm lens. I feel that the pics are Ok - But feel that they're lacking in clarity & sharpness. How can I improve? or am I being too critical? Any advice would be much appreciated!:t:

    I think it's a Stonechat, but looking on my British Birds 9 DVD I'm not quite sure. The DVD seems to show UK females with a different colouring, but compared to the video of the Siberian - It looks very similar. I know it's a poor shot but only managed one before it flew off over the river...
