    Black Guillemots

    They breed under the Queens bridge and in the drainage holes in front of the Waterfront hall, up past the Albert bridge as well, best count I have had is 33 birds around that area. Also 8 pairs of Common Tern breeding on the raft built for them between the Lagan weir and Queen Elizabeth bridge.

    Interesting, I'd never noticed the misinformation in the exif before, I def dont have a canon lens and the teleconverter is a sigma 1.4x so I dont know where the camera thought the canon bit was.

    I've been using the sigma for a couple of years now and have no real complaints, yes its a bit of a heavy weight, but that just adds to the stability. I have had a 1.4x teleconverter fitted for the last lot of months and it doesnt seem to have effected the amount of hits either, have a look here...

    There seems to have been a flock of waxwings resting at st georges church /albert clock belfast area today ,numbers between 50-80 ,mainly in the trees in the church car park ,there was a flock of at least 120 on the trees lining the river lagan at ormeau bridge yesterday .
