    Bewick swans on New Years Day, at Ibsley Water Meadows Hampshire. I haven't been birding all that long, so was pleased to start the New Year with something i hadn't seen before.

    Hi everyone My name is Eve and i have loved birds since i saw a flock of lapwings in a field opposite our house when we lived on the Isle of Wight some years ago. Since then I have always been aware of the birds around me wherever i am, though i still don’t know most of their names...
