    Alvor......Portugal, in June. Any suggestions?

    Never been to Portugal. Alvor is on the coast, next to an en estuary. There is a reserve within walking distance. Being June I am not expecting anything special but hopefully there will be different birds to those seen in the UK. Any ideas/suggestions etc. appreciated. Many thanks

    We have a small stream at the bottom of the garden.........it used to be maybe 2 foot deep but now just inches.     UK Starlings.........is there a BIG increase in numbers this year ?

    We have had a pair in the garden for 2 hours....an adult feeding the young one (although the young one seems bigger than the adult :) ) Regularly getting 3 or 4 'stealing' the fat balls that belongs to the various Tits etc...........naughty Starlings!
