Old Zeisses still in use today

Not that it matters one jot, but they also had a full size picture of the bins on the outside of the white box, as Apple does now with most of its products. Blazing a trail maybe? Hmm.

    Same here!

I'll cover your bins with any color armor, as long as it's black...

What about two-tone bins. My favourite bins are Zeiss Night Owls and they are a very fetching contrast of two greys. They also did them in two greens. Lovely!

    Essex Birding

No! No luck on the Wheatear front either, which is odd as places like Landguard seem to be dripping in them!

    Essex Birding

Tell me the Whinchats weren't at the Hythe this evening? I haven't had any Whinchat luck at the Hythe this year and as I got there this evening I got a call from the wife telling me to return home pronto so it would be one of the only evenings this year I haven't been there!

Hythe Lagoons tonight. 10 young folk walked from Rowhedge and waited patiently while I finished birding from the recently erected viewing screen. They then proceeded to clamber all over it for half an hour or so before heading back from whence they came. The birds didn't seem to mind though...
