    We trapped this moth this morning. We know Square-Spotted Clay is a breckland species and we have trapped breckland species at this site before, but we are also aware that we are outside the flight season for this species. Could this be an immigrant or have we got the ID wrong? Thanks Sim

    5 Common Cranes at Welney WWT today. One pair had a young bird with them and were frequently chasing off the other pair. Great to see there's been breeding success in this area of the county. Record shot on my website before long...

    There's normally one or two over the marshes at Holkham in the evening. This area has a vast amount of ideal habitat, so is probably worth a look in my opinion.
