    >Were they flying quite slow or fast?< Did you ever hear of a peregrine that flew slowly? ;-) Seriously though, she was flying at quite a pace, many of the shots were blurred even shooting at f/4.

    Thank you all for the kind comments. Befitting a top predator, the Peregrines have chosen an incredibly beautiful spot along the cliffs to call home. Taken just before sunset, the fiery colour of the lichen-covered sandstone really stands out. Shooting at f/4 helped blur the background.

    Many thanks folks, for all the kind words. Yes, a rare privilege indeed to spend time with these incredible creatures. Time slips by unnoticed when sitting on the cliffs with the Peregrines and what a joy when they inquisitively do a close fly-by.
