    Are those Houbaras on the track by the cement works . That’s where I saw them a few years ago.

    It’s also possible to day trip Fuerteventura from Playa Blanca . I did that in 2016 in a hire car mainly for the Stonechat but it was worthwhile just to see the Island. Wasn’t expensive at the time.

    Finally saw Moustached this morning on 4th attempt. Between the dog leg in the main track and the start of the boardwalk, thanks to information from previous posts. 2 seen well.

    Moustached warbler still eludes me . 2 visits to Albufera so far and just one brief burst of song about 200m along the Ses Puntes track. Still 5 days to try for my one remaining target.

    Yes you can cycle round Draycote. I haven’t done the roost for some time so wouldn’t like to say if one spot is best .

    Adult Glaucous gull at Hill top farm ,Hunningham at 2pm in the field left of the drive then flew east ; presumably the bird roosting at Draycote.

    I will be onsite by 05.45am. There is a Golf course backing on to the FC onto which the bird could disappear but hoping for a Warwickshire tick today ! If anyone does not know the FC is off Knights lane , Tiddington. Edit. No sign in a 2 hour early morning search - no other birders looking.

    I will also be driving Sydney to Melbourne in November stopping 2 nights at Eden and 1 night at Lakes entrance so I will also appreciate suggestions for the route as well as both cities.

    www.draycotebirding.co.uk Parking £2.50 ,for Farborough bank walk from the car park towards the visitor centre and go to your right ,see the site map. Of course the Diver could be anywhere but Farborough bank seems to be where it is reported from most. A full circuit is about 5 miles.

    Much closer to home try Loxley. Head out of Wellesboune on a minor road on the south side of the airfield for 2 miles , in Loxley turn left and go up the hill through the village and right at the top of the hill there is an obvious layby.
