    Durham Birding

    Can anyone reccomend a good birding site that i could go to at the weekend ? I had been unable to go anywhere for a while and I was missing it . Thanks for the help. P.S Please bear in mind that I'm only 14 so I can't go anywhere without the help of my Mam or Dad.

    Well , when I was at Seal Sands NNR a few weeks back , I saw 2 foxes . One dead by the roadside and another spriting along the waste ground in broad daylight. There was a birder who saw it , so maybe if he has an account on here, he can vouch for me.

    I'm changing mine ! I was tired when I originally posted little crake and at the time I assumed everyone had seen the little crake down south . But . . . .big but . . . .what I didn't notice at the time was the black and white stripes which makes it an adult water rail !

    I may be a bit biased considering I read the 'Durham' thread where you post your pictures so I'm not going to post for that one . The raptor ? Is it a merlin ?
