    trip to bass rock

    hi i have booked a trip to bass rock in june part of the itinery on this trip is something called chumming,this is where fish is thrown to the gannets from the boat to get the great diving shots . my question is has anyone out there been on one of these trips and if so what focal length lens...

    hi i have got the chance to get my hands on a nikon 500 afs f4 prime lens but without vr and i was wondering if anyone out there has any experience of this setup and do you miss the vr facility. this setup would be used on tripod not handheld with d300 any advice would be welcome cheers steve

    i seem to have developed a fungal type growth on my 70/300 zoom lens does anybody know if this can be repaired and if so by whoom this is very dissapointing as it is only 2.5 years old and never knowingly been used in the wet cheers steve
